Lewis Center Staff

The LPLI is backed and supported by the expertise of the staff of the Lewis Center for Church Leadership of Wesley Theological Seminary. The following staff members work with the LPLI.

Dr. Lovett H. Weems, Jr., director of the Lewis Center and distinguished professor of church leadership at Wesley Theological Semianry, directs the LPLI and is the principal researcher involved in its development.

Ann A. Michel, associate director of the Lewis Center, oversees the development of communication material related to the LPLI and has assisted in the development of the LPLI's criteria of leadership effectiveness.

Joseph E. Arnold, research manager for the Lewis Center, has lead staff responsibility for managing the LPLI administration process, assisting users, facilitating groups, maintaining the databases and producing LPLI reports. He is also a sales and customer service representative for the LPLI. Contact.

Thomas James, resource manager for the Lewis Center, works with the LPLI administration process, assists with LPLI communication efforts, and is responsible for developing and disseminating leadership resources and products related to the LPLI. He is also a sales and customer service representative for the LPLI. Contact.

Frenika Mudd, administrative assistant for the Lewis Center, handles LPLI billing and processing of accounts.

Carol Follett, communications assistant for the Lewis Center, serves as Webmaster for LPLI.org.
